The professional Blastcor® BM I-30 sandblasting machine is used for soft, delicate jobs to remove sharp edges, to smooth roughness, polish, remove scales, rust, older paints as well as to treat non-metallic surfaces. A distinctive feature of the machine is its low compressed-air consumption. Pulsationless stable work starts when compressed air of 0,8 m3/min is available at pressure of 5-8 atm.
The injector-type Blastcor® BM I-30 sandblasting device includes a vessel for abrasives, an injector device that allows to measure out the abrasive being fed, a compressed-air hose, an abrasive material hose, an air pressure regulator and a sandblasting gun.
The sandblasting gun has an air nozzle through which the compressed air is fed into the mixing chamber passing it through the abrasive–blast nozzle that has a standard two-fold larger diameter than the compressed-air nozzle, which creates in the abrasive feeding hose and the injector suction. The latter transports the abrasive into the mixing chamber of the abrasive-blast gun and further on into the nozzle where the abrasive particles get accelerated and fed onto the treated surface.
The mobile, easy to use device provides high job quality, which is widely used in automobile repair shops, vehicle coating posts, restorer, joiner and glass shops.
ABRASIVE MATERIALS USED
The Blastcor® BM I-30 sandblasting machine works with medium-density abrasives, grade of 0,2 - 1,6 mm - fused alumina, silicon carbide, mineral dross (copper or nickel), glass and plastic shots as well as with other abrasives used in abrasive-blast treatment.
The Blastcor® BM I-30 sandblasting machine is delivered ready to use, one should connect it to the compressed air.
The Blastcor® BM I-30 sandblasting machine is equipped with a specially designed «iD» injector used to take in the abrasive and regulate the strain with which the abrasive material is fed via the hose into the sandblasting gun
The Blastcor® BM I-30 sandblasting machine has a 90° cone-type bottom, which provides a better abrasive material fall from walls and prevents moisture absorption on the vessel walls.
The Blastcor® BM I-30 sieve is placed inside the machine, which helps decrease the height of the installation and makes it easier to load the machine with abrasives. The Blastcor® sandblasting machines have a sieve made of a steel sheet punched with 4 mm holes. Such a sieve proves more efficient to sieve abrasives than the mesh wire ones. The 4-mm calibrated orifice prevents particles over 4-mm as well as other contaminants entering the machine, which helps the installation work efficiently and non-interrupted. To protect the machine, a light crimp lid is used to prevent moisture.
The Blastcor® BM I-30 sandblasting machine is delivered with an «SGi» abrasive-blast gun to feed the abrasive onto the treated surface by a focused flow of abrasive-air mixture helping for a quick and quality piece treatment. The ergonomic «SGi» hand design makes it possible for the operator to easily treat pieces from any angle. The «SGi» gun nozzles made of boron carbide and air nozzles of different diametres allow the SA 3 grade surface treatment.
The Blastcor® BM I-30 sandblasting machine is equipped with a pressure regulator and gauge to be used for pressure set-up and track.
