The Blastcor® BM-100 RC professional high-efficiency sandblasting machine thanks to its high technicality is used both in high-output industrial enterprises and at smaller manufactures or building sites to clean – metal, concrete, wooden or other surfaces – from corrosion, scales, graffiti, older paint, lubricants, other pollutants, providing an ideal surface for anti-corrosion coating.
The Blastcor® BM-100 RC sandblasting machine of the pressure type functions by feeding an abrasive material into a mixing chamber through a SANDSTURM® batcher valve and compressed air through the pneumatic piping.
After mixing in the set-up proportion the abrasive-air mix is fed under a high pressure into the abrasive-blast hose and is applied to the surface processed by the abrasive-blast nozzle where its speed increases.
The Blastcor® BM-100 RC abrasive-blast machine due to its small dimensions is easily transportable with a light-duty lorry or a car track.
ABRASIVE MATERIALS USED
The Blastcor® BM-100 RC abrasive-blast machine is equipped with a SANDSTURM® universal abrasive batcher that makes it possible to use any abrasive of the 0,1-4,00 mm size – cast, chopped, cast iron or steel shots, marble or granite aggregate, glass beads, alumina, silicon carbide, fused alumina, mineral slags (copper and nickel), as well as other abrasives available for abrasive blasting jobs.
The Blastcor® BM-100 RC two-operator shot-blasting machine is equipped with an oulet silencer that decreases the noise level when the machine gets depressurized and also collects abrasive particles in the air, which prevents operator injuries.
The Blastcor® BM-100 RC abrasive-blasting machine is normally equipped with a high-efficiency MMS-32 moisture filter that has no analogues. The filter is used to prevent moisture, oil and other contaminants to access the machine.
The Blastcor®BM-100 RC sieve is placed inside the machine, which helps decrease the height of the installation and makes it easier to load the machine with abrasives. The Blastcor® sandblasting machines have a sieve made of a steel sheet punched with 4 mm holes. Such a sieve proves more efficient to sieve abrasives than the mesh wire ones. The 4-mm calibrated orifice prevents particles over 4-mm as well as other contaminants entering the machine, which helps the installation work efficiently and non-interrupted. To protect the machine, a light crimp lid is used to prevent moisture.
The Blastcor® BM-100 RC sandblasting machine is equipped with the REMCON® remote control which makes it possible to remotely turn on the installation by pressing the control key. It also provides a quick stop of blasting by releasing the control handle. The use of the sandblasting machine without the remote control is extremely dangerous and may cause grave injuries. The REMCON® control system helps save compressed air and abrasive and also increases the work efficiency.
All Blastcor® sandblasting machines are equipped with quick-split «CLAMP» connections which takes 5 seconds to remove the batch, dispose of the abrasives or remove foreign bodies which prevent the work, or change the lock for maintenance.
The Blastcor®BM-100 RC abrasive-blasting machine has an easily opening inspection window of a higher size to allow an easy access to the internal parts.
The Blastcor® BM-100 RC sandblasting machine is equipped with a specially designed high-efficiency SANDSTURM® portion control valve. The latter device has an increased through diameter of the 28-mm rubber or polyurethane pipe in the abrasive feeding part, which makes it possible to finely regulate the abrasive feed, irrespective of its nature and size, from glass beads of several micrones in diameter to chipped cast-iron shots and granite up to 4 mm. The rubber or polyurethane pipe in the abrasive feeding lines guarantees the interruption-free work of 12 or more months. The polyurethane increases considerably the life-time. The SANDSTURM® valve is of a modern and innovative design and is reliable, simple and easy to maintain. The main feature that distinguishes it from market-available devices is that the through diameter is increased to allow a higher volume of abrasives entering the mixing chamber, which allows a higher efficiency with an increase of compressed air feed. The SANDSTURM® metering valve employs a screw pair with a screw making possible to quickly and finely measure out the abrasive being fed onto the surface under treatment. The SANDSTURM®, as a plus, allows to feed the abrasives into the mixing chamber under the angle of 45°, which makes it possible to achieve the maximum efficiency when abrasives of different nature are used.
